Here's the new car and the first mod of the new car.
The stock seats had to go. Much more fun to drive now.
Also shows the speaker covers i painted black for a little more contrast.
Had some black vinyl left over from another project so i wrapped the center console lid to match the seats.
Made a couple brackets, drilled (2) 3 1/2" holes in the bumper cover on either side of the license plate, and gave myself a whole lot better reverse light setup. (2) 54w 894 bulbs will light up much better than the little ones in the tails. While i was at it, i made a real carbon fiber trim panel for the lights and license plate. Looks much better with the smoked plate cover.
I'm thinking of Niteshading the backup lights to make them blend in with the rear a little more. Shouldn't change the light output too much.
A set of carbon fiber sill plates were easy to make.
