19. GSX V.S. 1997 Toyota Supra - Win - October 07'
So, I know I have mentioned this before and I have to mention it again. When your a car enthusiast there is always a list of "Euphoric" cars that you absolutely want to race just to see if your own car has got what it takes. Your hungry, and you know your car has some balls, or at least you would like to think it does! To get to the point the infamous Toyota Supra is very close to the top of that list, and I happen to come accross a red 97' Supra while I was on my way back from the hot dog stand for lunch. This sort of car really increases the fuel-pressure coarsing through my turbocharged veins. I slowed down just slightly, waiting for him to pull up next to me. I forcefully catch the light and glance over at the driver. He nods in acknowledgement and rolls down his window, "is that a GS-T or a GSX." "Of course it's a GSX!" I hollered back. We exchanged compliments and he asked what I had on the car, I told him just simple bolt-ons and he said the same about his supra. I noticed the cross light go yellow and I reved the engine just enough for my HKS blow-off-valve to sound in his ear, he smiled and started reving for the green. I put it up to about 5100-RPM's and had perfect timing on the launch! Chirping the tires on green and shooting out of the whole like a sling-shot I screamed through rpm's as the needle rose to 7000 and pounded the shifter to second gear with all my might. I had him by two cars but he wasn't fading nearly fast enough for me to quit yet. I smacked the clutch-pedal and crammed third gear praying that he wouldn't pull on me. I could see his gleaming cherry red front-bumper in my side-view and that frount-mount intercooler looked like a set of gritting teeth trying to reclaim that ground that it had lost off the launch. We went deep into third before he let off and I flipped on the hazards (which I know aren't really necessary for a run actually found on the street but it makes me feel so much better). We caught the next light and exchanged so more compliments. We talked about the car meets coming up and parted ways, needless to say I grinned all the way home. Put one more up for the GSX! Hell of a season guys, hell of a season!

18. GSX V.S. 2005 Acura RSX-S - Win - October 07'
Ok Saturday is cruise nights, so I'm just cruising the streets enjoying the last days of nice weather in my freshly cleaned car! Anyways I notice what looks to be a ricer up a head at the next light (thanks to his exaggerated rear spoiler and altezza tail lights.) As soon as I pulled up next to this guy I was dumbfounded on how wrong I was. This was by far the nicest, cleanest, most bad-ass RSX I had ever seen. It had a spoiler similiar to that of an EVO 8 and a classy body kit. It had a custom blue metallic paint-job with some amazing aquatic graphics on the side. The rims were absolutely sick and I could see what appeared to be a DVD/Navigation molded into the dash along with an upgraded big brake kit front and rear(or at least on the passenger side anyway lol). The gauges screamed quality from their intense neon lighting and the absolute coolest thing about this car is that it was turbocharged (I noticed the front-mount as soon as I pulled up)!!! I wish I would had taken an actual picture so I could post it for you, but I was too mezmorized to think of it. Anyways we both roll out of gear on green, and I wasn't really expecting anything to happen. I figured by the look of all the work he had done to it that it was a show car. Just as I slid it into second with regaining rpm's at 2500 I hear this kid open this bi*** up. Frustrated with myself for not being prepared for such actions made me just stomp on it in second and wait for the boost to hit. Second gear is by far my most advantageous gear and pulls like a god-da** train. As I hit the boost threshold my body is forced back into the seat, I gripped the steering wheel tighter anticipating the 2-3 shift and pounded it at just under 7000k rpms. The whistling of his turbo grew louder as I regained the loss of ground; finally I came along side him midway through third and prayed that my heavy AWD drivetrain wouldn't play a role in the outcome of my fourth gear pull with a much lighter FWD turbo car. I slammed fourth and began ever so slightly easing away from him...inch by inch till I got maybe a car or so ahead by the time I topped out fourth at 123mph-ish. I cautiously slid into 5th and flipped on the hazards letting off the gas and gently braking back to the speed limit. He turned off before I could get a chance to talk to him and compliment his ride, however all I know is that his license plate read "05 RSX S." It must had been a pretty big turbo on that car for a N/A FWD car to even keep up, the polished front-mount was gorgeous. Anyways I'll hit you back with more updates, peace.

17. GSX V.S. 2005 Nissan 350Z Track Ed. - Win - September 07'
So I'm cruising home from my girl's house, it's about 11:00p.m., and I'm coming up to this intersection when I notice a clean 350Z with a low profile/classy body-kit on it. I stop at the red light and watch this sexy car turn onto the road I'm on and start to pull away....with the faintest hint I caught wind of it's smooth accelerating exhaust note; but there was something odd about it.... there was an agressive whining that could be heard just over the exhaust. My eyes widened with excitement; knowing of only one performance part that would allow such a melodic tune, a supercharger! Anxiously pulling off of the light and trying to catch up I race through the gears to get along side this magnificent beast. I finally catch up and pace along side of the 350, as soon as I slid into 5th gear and let the clutch out I heard him drop to what must had been third gear at about 50mph. The whistling of the supercharger and the smooth yet aggressive roar coming from his exhaust was absolutely sexy. Immediately giving chase I dropped to third and went wide open pounding fourth as we come around a large bank in the road at about 95-100mph slowly reeling him in. We both let off coming off the turn coming up to the next stop light. As we stop he rolls down his window and I do the same...."Smells like you're running "Methanol,"" he said. "Nope just BP 93-octance," I replied. "How much boost you running," he asked, "21-pounds, is that a supercharger," I asked. "Yea," "That's sick man, sounds f***ing awesome," I told him. He grinned and nodded in appreciation as the light went green, we both rolled out of gear having been talking to much to go from a dig. I waited for him to nail it and sure enough just as I entered my full boost threshold I could instantly hear his blower screaming. I took it all the way to 7000 rpm before I ripped into second gear and slammed back on the gas. As soon as I let the clutch out it was all over, my rearend sunk and my car just pulled and pulled further away. Cramming third I glanced in my side view watching him slowly fade, I let off about 95 as I slid into fourth and kicked on the hazards. It was time for home, we peaced at the next light as I tallied one for the scoreboard. That car was damn sexy and it was pretty quick for a Z.

16. GSX V.S. 1997 Mitsubishi Eclipse GST - Win - September 07'
So we hit up the usual spot, it's hoppin with cars all all over the place, and this guy that I had seen multiple times up there asked if I wanted to run. He was even willing to show me under the hood before negotiations were underway. EvoIII 16G, front mount intercooler, intake manifold, exhaust manifold, and 272 cams, his car was ready to put up a fight. I told him I would only go heads-up and this guy agreed without even thinking about it, which made me think one thing.....spray. But regardless I knew I would be bus lengths in front of this guy with the kind of power he was pushing and without drag radials he would most likely spin all of 1st and 2nd maybe even 3rd. We settled on $40 bucks (gas money) and lined up, my friend was flagging so I was a little more comfortable at the line. He flashed his lights and I reved and flashed mine, the arms dropped and I shot out of the whole easily taking 4 car lengths or so, I pounded second just before hitting 7000 rpms and glanced in my rear view to see him torque steering and still spinning his tires. I granny shifted third and fourth and finished a good ten cars or so ahead, no joke. We came back around and he said he missed a gear along with the fact that he didn't have any traction. "Do you want to go double or nothing?" he asked. All I could think is: "is this kid nuts? He must be really think he can beat me." Honestly I was hardly worried so I told him I would give him the hit and when he left I would go. So round two we bothed flashed and he took off bogging the shit out of his launch this time and I just blew his doors off, finishing literally bus lengths in front of him. I won't shy away from easy money, but you never know when your being hustled. Two quickies for the "X!"

15. GSX V.S. 2004 Mustang Cobra - Win - August 07'
So I'm chillin at the car meet looking for possible competition and my buddy catches this guy with an Evo 9 that is looking to run. Having only been there 30 mins I said sure why not it will be a quicky! So we drive far as Fu** to get to the spot, I go to show him the start and finish and he starts complaining that his trans doesn't want to go into 2nd gear. WTF!! Seriously you could have told me that before we drove half-the-night away to get here. So we go back to the meet and we stroll through the crowds doing laps trying to find anyone worth running. Two hours later we decide to give up and just hit the road, and as were leaving we pass the Mustang Cobra Convertible with yellow temp-tags on it. My buddy just looked at me and grinned and said he'd be right back. With in two minutes I had this guy looking at my car to decide whether or not he would race. Ofcourse I won't pop so we set it up like this: Two races, the first race would be heads-up and the second race would spot the loser of the first race out a fair amount of cars to make it a good race for double or nothing. We line up on location and I was slightly nervous, I've never ran a cobra before. My guy was flagging, he pointed to us to make sure we were ready, his arms went up and came right back down. I hurled my car off the line hoping to put some distance in between us, I pounded the one-two shift and just kept on going. I hit third gear next and as soon as I got the gas to the floor I heard the sound of of a roaring nuetral engine out of my passenger window. I could not believe it, he missed third gear!!! I take him by a couple bus lengths thanks to his mis-shift and head to collect my money. He pays up and starts asking for 5 cars. "5 CARS," (I said)!!! I told him that if he hadn't missed thrid he probably would had reeled me in, and for all I know he let off after seeing how much he was losing by anyways. I ended up giving him 1 car and took his money for double or nothing. Believe it or not I guess his second gear was giving him problems too, so he ended up getting locked out during the second race. Now that's some bad luck. Oh well, thats two more for the "X"!

14. GSX V.S. 2007 New Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG - Loss - July 07'
Ok guys this is going to sound ridiculous but I have got to tell this one. So me and a buddy of mine are taking a cruise specifically looking to mess around when I notice this gorgeous Mercedes following me. It's always nice to show someone that you don't have to spend $60-70,000 to have a fast car, so I immediately was in the mood. Then the Mercedes pulled up next to me (Cherry red in color ofcourse) and my eyes nearly popped out of my skull. On the long-ass front fender I saw a badge, and I happen to catch what it said.....V12 BI-Turbo. Holy Sh**!!! Now let me set the stage for you, according to www.rsportscars.com "the driving force behind the Mercedes-Benz SL 65 AMG is the extremely powerful AMG 6.0-litre V12 biturbo engine developing 604 bhp and a maximum torque of 738 lb-ft, making it the most powerful production Roadster in the world." I'm sorry let me say this again.... Holy F***ing Sh**!!! So now that you have an Idea about what I'm speaking of, this car is like the "Mack-Daddy" of Luxury Sport Roadsters. The base model costs over $185,000.00 and with the accessories this car goes for over $200,000.00. Anyways, so this guy starts messing with me back forth, gas and brakes, trying to get me to go. Now I don't want to just flat out embarrass myself, plus it's not good for my moral. So after purposefully slowing down trying to catch a light about a hundred times we finally snag one. Immediately I roll down my window and so does he; so I yell accross the way, "wanna go on green?" "no, too many cops around here, you want to do a highway pull," he asks. Now, I'm not an idiot, knowing this guy has three times as many litres, three times as many cylinders and an extra turbo, ofcourse he doesn't want to go from a stop. So I told him that I wouldn't put up much a fight from a roll but from a stop I might give him a run for his money. "no street racing, but if we go on the highway we can go from a lower mile-per-hour." "What the hell, I'll give it a shot," I told him. So we jump on the highway and it was his three honks that would start us. We slowed to 40mph, which is second gear for me, probably first for him(no clue), and beep...beep...beep, I mashed that piece of steel called the throttle pedal like it had to go through the floor board, I ripped into third so goddamn hard and fast I don't think the gas came off the floor, but the freaking amazing part was that this guy was barely creeping away from me. It wasn't until about mid-way through fourth gear that he had more than two cars. So from 40 to about 98mph or so I was actually hanging with him. Fourth gear took me to about 125mph and I even went into Fifth just for the hell of it. Right under 140mph I hit fuel cut and he stepped on the brakes simultaneously. But it was incredible, he was only maybe four car lengths ahead, I'm thinking "man if I didn't have AWD I would be much lighter, or if my tiny side-mount intercooler wasn't so heat soaked just from getting to the highway, or hell, if it were from a stop and I got a good launch I might stand a chance in the quarter mile, Holy Sh**." We exchanged compliments after getting off to jump back on going the opposite direction to head back. He said he was impressed and didn't have a clue that I would be able to keep up with my 4-banger, I simply thanked him with a grin on my face and we parted ways. I had to share this, and the fact that my car that I bought for $13,500.00 with a couple grand worth of work can keep up with a car that costs almost $200,000.00, is a perfect example of why all I went through to get my car to this point is worth it. It was a loss but at least it was a proud loss.

13. GSX V.S. 1997 Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX - Win - July 07'
Ok so I'm chillin at "Strats" checking out some rides when I notice a guy and his buddy looking over my ride, I say what's up and he asks if I was looking to set something up? Ofcourse, I say, but let's check out your car. So a friend of mine and myself go check out this guys ride and come to find out that it is a 97' GSX with a gargantuan front-mount intercooler. Immediately I'm thinking I need to be spotted out, then he tells me he won't go from a dig, he'll only run from a roll because his clutch isn't that great and will just slip at the line. I'm thinking this guy has a monster turbo on there and just wants to play me. So I tell him that I want spots and won't go for more than gas money. Next he says he just wants to go for shits and giggles and wants to go heads-up from 40mph. I mulled it over and concluded there would be no harm done if I lost; I wouldn't lose money, very little clutch and drivetrain stress, sure why not I said. So we get to the spot and used the three-honk-start method, knowing about his front-mount had me slightly intimidated so when we got to the third honk and laid into it I took second gear all the way up to redline and smashed it into third like lightening. I could not believe my eyes, I was pulling away from him.....1 cars, 2 cars, by the time I got halfway through 4th gear I was a good 4 cars in front. I flipped the hazards on and went back to "Strats." He comes strolling up a little star struck, "what are you running, I thought it would be an easy win, I mean you don't have a front mount and your not externally-gated, what the F***," he asks. I told him "as soon as you tell me what kind of turbo your runnning to require a big nasty front-mount like you have I'll let you know. He was hesitant but gave it up anyways, he showed me his bigger than my head GT35R with a .82 A/R hot side turbo and I almost shit a brick. Then he told me he was only running 15 pounds and things made a little more sense. So I told him about the head work and told him a white lie about what turbo I was running. But, he bought it and went on his way. Hell yea the "X" takes a GT35R......only running 15 pounds but still!

12. GSX V.S. 2002 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 - Win - June 07'
It was my luck that I happen to be serving at a restaurant where one the Managers traded in his S2000 and upgraded to the ultimate, a Corvette Z06. He's like 28 and has been toying around with cars for a while, starting with a Srt-4, than a GTO, then the S2000, and now the Corvette. Anyways we bowl on Wednessday nights and it was only a matter of time before we left at the same time and set something up. We had talked about running but never got around to it; this is how it played out. He left the lanes early one night with his buddies and I left later and on my way home I noticed a familiar looking pair of headlights. A "Vette's!" I had no clue it was him until we caught the perfect light that happen to be desserted at 1:00 in the morning. All it took was one look over and he started reving! I put the revs up pretty high knowing that since it was a Z06 I was going to have to muster every ounce of potential AWD hurling capabilities on the launch so I could put some distance between us. Red went to green and I heard my tires tear up a mili-second of pavement as my car's ass end dropped down and bolted out of the hole, I heard the Vette's tire spin but it wasn't for as long as I was hoping for. Jamming the shifter into second I had a chance to glance in the side mirror and see that I put three maybe three and a half cars between us. As I pounded third I could only stare in to my mirror and wait for him to eat up the distance and catch me, or so I thought. Turns out I lost no distance over him right up to about 100 mph. I popped the hazards on going into fourth and he quit, we slowed down and pulled in a lot to talk it over. He was quite impressed by the launch and wanted to go from a roll. What the hell, it's not everyday you get to go head-to-head with a Z06. So we found a spot and went from 40 miles an hour with a three-honk start. With him honking and me being right under the full boost threshhold in second gear at 40mph, I had no idea how it would work out. Beep.....Beep....Beep and we were off I hit the gas so F*****g hard, second didn't last long until I had to power shift into third barely letting up on the gas. To my surprise there was no pull from either beast. I literally could not see any movement in position. I was ecstatic knowing that my car pulled as hard as a Z06 from a roll, thats ridiculous! We stopped at about 110 or so and talked it over at the next light and took off. We talked about it for the next week or so at work, reliving it everyday. That's one more big one for the "X."

11. GSX V.S. 2006 Suburu STI - Loss - June 07'
I'am pissed off at my-self for blowing such an oppurtunity. So I was coming home from my buddies house and I came accross this white STI. Instinctively speeding up to catch him I notice he has pink rims! I know this clown, I saw him take a stage 4 EVO VIII last summer. I've seen him at "Strats" a couple of times and know that he is GRD's driver. And from the race I saw last summer he has a ridiculous launch. So I was excited to get in a dig with a veteran/heavily modded car. I kept instigating that I wanted to go but everything I tried to make him jump didn't work, he did not want to go from a roll for some reason. I followed him a ways and what-do-you-know we caught a light together. I glance over to see him messing with stuff on the center console and realize he must not of had the boost setting that he wanted to run with or lauch control active or whatever, all I know is that when he looked over and nodded it was on. The light accross the way went yellow and we started revving up and we sat there waiting to unleash the AWD beasts that were roaring at the line. We must had been there for about 20 minutes waiting for the light to go green, or at least that's what it felt like. So.... like an idiot I stopped revving for what ever reason and as soon as I did the the goddamn light went green. This guy tore out the whole something fierce and I was stuck slipping the clutch like a little Bit** trying to get some momentum. Pounding gears and swearing at the same time I was back about 4 cars, I went deep into 3rd and had only madeup about a half a car length so I crammed fourth and rallied another car back but it just wasn't going to be enough, so I gave-up. He nodded and smiled at the next light turning right, I put my tail between my legs and headed for home. (yells) SON OF A Bit**

10. GSX V.S. 2005 Pontiac GTO - Win - May 07'
This was another one of those races where you know you just want to find somebody with one of these cars just so you could see how you would do. I mean seriously a 6.0L V8 400hp monster against my 2.0L Inline-four-cylinder YEA! So I was coming back from my girl's house cruising down North Ave when I see the GTO tail lights, ofcourse without hesitation I speed up hoping to snag the next light with him. As luck would have it I did and proceeded to compliment the owner on it's condition. Gorgeous black pearl color, he thanked me and said that he actually was a previous DSM owner and said that he traded it in for the GTO. I asked him why and he gave the usuals, "could never keep it running, and just couldn't make it fast enough." I grinned as soon as he said the second one, and he asked if I wanted to give it a go? Obliging I gave her a little gas at the red light, not only to say "Hell yes" I want to go but in hopes of a little intimidation. I asked him what he had on her and he said nothing special; just a full exhaust, intake and a set of headers. I looked forward as the light was about to go green and between the two of us revving up it must had sounded like a god-damn jet engine behind us. Anyways the light went green and I tore out of the hole chirping all four as I left the line. I had him by about three cars and slowly but surely pulled away... we quit at about 90 and I took the next side street home. I was in shock on the way home and could not believe that GTO did not pull on me. I'm surprised what this car can do sometimes!

9. GSX V.S. 2007 Suburu STI - Win - May 07'
I have been longing for a race like this one since I threw on my new turbo set-up. When I was pulling up to the light and noticed that it was an STI in the next lane, my heart started pounding in exhiliration. I glanced over and it was just a boy driving..... I couldn't believe it. He couldn't had been more than 17 or 18(I'm 21 which isnt that much older but still). He immediately grinned at me and gave it a little throttle, just enough so I could hear the firing of every cylinder of the rippling boxter motor. I was left with no choice but to go for it..... plus I wanted to. The light went yellow accross the way and we both started to rev up. I know STI's are known for their launching capabilities from the ridiculous amount of torque they produce coming from the factory. Plus judging from the gauges and the HKS Ti exhaust system that I could fit my head into under his rear lip the car wasn't stock. The light turned green and I pulled a perfect slip/dump launch at about 5-grand tearing out of the whole like a sun-of-a-bit**. Barely having time to take my eyes out of the side mirror and glance at the ever so sky rocketing tachometer I pounded into second leading this kid by maybe a car and a half to two cars. I pulled another car with every gear that I hammered and watched him give up in my rear view at about 110mph. I kicked on the Hazards and slowed purposefully to catch the next light with him. He rollded down his window and we exchanged compliments, he asked what I had and told him "some-bolt-on's", I asked him and he told me " Turbo-back, Intake, Top-mount, Bov, Access-Port, and Boost Controller." I told him thanks for giving me a run and rolled out of gear at the green. After giving up that EVO VIII I'm just glad I can win a race like that.
Races below are from the '06 season.

8. GSX V.S. 2006 Chrysler Crossfire - Win - April 07'
This was a wash race but it was fun only because they guy was about my age and had his girlfriend in the car. It had some nice shiny chromed rims with dark window tint. And no these cars really aren't anything special (3.2 V6, 215hp) and probably wasn't worth my gas money but none the less I'm cruising towards AMC 30 Theaters and I see these HID's coming up pretty quickly in my side mirror, (I was hoping for an EVO or something) so I down shifted to third got up to about 60mph and started pacing him while he was coming along side of me. The windows were cracked a little bit and the guy gave me a "chin nod" and his girl next to him just smiled. Anticipating it, I hear his enigne revs jump and his tires chirp so ofcourse I slam it to the floor in thrird and rip it in to fourth without hesitation. I glance in the rear view to see his head-lights dissipating in the distance for an easy win #8. Pointless.....maybe....but it helps the "X"'s moral.

7. GSX V.S. 2001 Ford F-150 Lightning - Win - September 05'
Near my buddy's house there is a guy around the corner who is a Ford "Finatic" not only does he own the F-150 Lightning but he also owns a PAIR of mustang cobras and an old Ford pickup from way back in the day that he is restoring. Anyways I'm headed home from my buddies house and notice his White F-150 with the Ford logo on it a few car lengths ahead; quickly increasing my speed to catch up, we catch the first light that we come to. We've talked once or twice before but nothing too friendly, so I pulled up and he nodded in acknowledgement and I did the same. And I'm not sure what was done to the truck besides exhaust and a 10-l.b. pulley, nonetheless I wanted to see how this thing pulled. So the light goes green and I roll out of gear and he started off normal but as soon as we got about halfway through the intersection I could hear from his now somewhat louder exhaust note that his car was downshifting from 2 back to 1. Thank god I was still in first gear(otherwise my RPMs would had been so low in second) because all it took was slamming the gas to the floor and it was on! I had him buy a nose going into second gear and I slowly continued to pull away. Coming up to fourth gear he was directly lateral of my rear bumper and at just under 100mph he let off and I did too. I was quite proud of my little T-25 turbo, it's not everyday you see a 5.4Liter Supercharged V8 get taken by an amateur rated turbo!

6. GSX V.S. 1996'Mitsu GST Convertible - Win - August 05'
Just cruising around one day, out to lunch, and I saw this kid in a green convertible GS-T with the top down. Immediately I sped to get along side of him. He glanced over and nodded in acknowledgment and kept about his business. Being a little dissappointed I dropped a gear and gave it a little gas; as I did this I passed his front bumper and noticed his not huge but nice size frontmount. Dropping back to his window I yelled out "what turbo," just to see if he would tell me, surprisingly he did and said it was the EVO III 16G! I was curious to see how the car pulled seeing as it's the turbo I'm interested in getting. We caught a light and he asked me what turbo I was on; I told him how I was still on the T-25 and asked if he had any other supporting mods for his car. He said "basically just intake and exhaust, front mount and the turbo, stock fuel system, stock manifold, stock motor." I grinned as the light went yellow accross the way and started to rev up. He reved too, and the light went green, tearing out of the hole and breaking my front tires loose for a milli-second gives me very little time before I have to slam it into second gear. But as soon as I did I glanced in the mirror to see him slightly pulling from two cars back. At this rate it would take him all day to catch me, but I went deep into third gear to see if his car would pull harder on the top end but it didn't. I hit about 105mph and he was now only a car length behind me. I flipped the hazards on and began to slow down, we caught the next light exchanged compliments and went our seperate ways. I'm sure he would had spanked me if he had any more supporting mods to help that turbo spool and carry on the top end, but nonetheless another win for the GSX!

5. GSX V.S. 2003 Nissan 350Z - Win - August 05'
I work in an industrial park and every once in a while I'll see this Blue 350Z drive by, and the car looks gorgeous. Well, anyways I followed him out of the industrial park one day trying to get his attention to see if he would go. He noticed me and we messed around in traffic trying to catch a light together but it just wasn't happening. Finally after at-least 15 mins of following this guy around we caught a light. We exchanged compliments and I asked what he had, he told me simply intake and exhaust, but then I noticed some gauges on the A-pillar. I asked what they were for and he just smiled. "Intake and Exhaust huh?" I asked. He just nodded and looked for the light to go green. We reved up, the light went green and we tore out of the whole together. I was only maybe a car length in front with the 350Z starting to close the gap. With every shift he gained less and less and by the time we broke a 100mph he was at my passenger door. He let off, I flipped the Hazards on and called it a night. One more for the "X!"

4. GSX V.S. 2004 Volkswagen R32 - Win - August 05'
This was some 16-year-old kid that thought he was hot sh** in his new/used R32 with temp. plates-bone-stock with his g/f in the passenger seat. We caught a light together and I thought, what the hell, why not? The light went green and we were off! Well at least the kid was off, I bogged the sh** out of my launch and was now freaking out that I was going to lose to this 16 year-old kid. I rode the RPM's all the way to redline and slammed the gears as fast and as hard as I knew how, thankfully my hard work payed off and put me a half car length in front when we crossed the finish line. What should had been an easy win was almost an embarassing loss. But a win is a win!

3. GSX V.S. 2005 Mitsubishi EVO VIII - Loss - July 05'
This is also one of my Buddy's cars, it has Buschur Racing Stages 1-4 and we knew he would spank me but I wanted to see how I would do against an 11-second EVO. He gave me the hit because the turn out was enevitable, but nonetheless I ripped it as hard as I could off the line trying to put as much distance as possible between me and him. Three or four car lengths was certainly not enough.... Yea, I lost but at least it took him three gears to catch me!

2. GSX V.S. 2003 Infiniti G35 - Win - July 05'
The G35 had intake and exhaust and I know this because after the race the kid ended up being in my Western Civ. class in school. We fooled around a little bit down North Ave. before finally catching a light together. But, I couldn't hear him reving at the light so I wasn't sure whether he was going to go or not(I later found out that his car was automatic). So the light goes green I hear his tires chirp and he takes off and I'm stuck playing catch up. So I slipped the clutch as best I could basically rolling out of first gear and caught up to him midway through 2nd gear. I hit third as hard as I could and wore a grin on my face as I SLOWLY passed by for win two!
1. GSX V.S. 2004 SRT-4 Neon - Win - July 05'
This is my buddy's car, it has Mopar Stage I. We both knew his car pulled harder from a roll but depending how I got out of the whole he may not have enough time to catch me! Well the light went green and let's just say he's gonna need a bigger turbo to make up that much ground.
