Just picked it up yesterday. This is going to be my new project. It's a 1983 Jeep Scrambler with a 258L I6, T176 4spd manual tranny, D300 T-case, D30 front axle and Model 20 rear. It has rust but not really bad for being a New England Jeep. My plans are not to make this into a Rock crawler/serious off roader or a show car but to just restore nice enough to drive in the summer, maybe to some cruise nights and do some light wheeling on class 6 roads.

This is my original Scrambler project. I purchesed this 1984 Scrambler in 2004. It is a rust bucket. I was planning on restoring this one until I found my 83. The 84 has an 258L I6, T5 manual tranny, D300 T-case and D30/Model 20 axles. It has a good frame but the body is shot.

Due to the fact this CJ lived on Cape Cod most of its life you can see the salt water took its toll (notice the plywood holding up what is left of the floor).
