heres my runnning 94 turbo cobra mustang. list of mods are as follows
stock motor tb to oilpan

headman shorty headers flipped for turbo install
aem wideband
phantom fuel/boost guage
pro 50 shifter
im sure theres think im forgeting

im going to show you a step by step of what was done to convert it to a turbocharged mustang.

heres a before pic of the engine compartment before the turbo

the turbo im using

i had to cut out the fender only because im not using an intercooler

the passenger header(formally the drivers side)

the location i planned for the turbo

i uses 2.5 inch pipe for this bend from my former tail pipe setup after the mufflers

heres the turbo flange i got from b&gcustom turbo
mounted in its location on the header

the finished header with the crossover conection in place.

now the other header needs some work done to get it to clear the ac on the car(foxbodys dont need this mod). i had to move the primary tubes back a port on the heads. the easiest way to do that was cut off the longest tube and move it to the front of the header nearest the collector. this allowed the collector to clear the ac compressor. with no ac i wouldn't have to do this.

underneath the car with headers mounted. this is where the crossover is going to connect the two headers before entering the turbo

how the down pipe was ran. under the car is a single 3" exhaust and magnaflow muffler(not pictured)

and the finished product(sort of) i changed the hoses that connect the cold pipe from turbo to throttle body

and finally the captains chair

heres the new wheels i just bought. still go to get the fronts though

and thats pretty much it. the car screams untuned and only a few seconds of full throttle its a monster. runs much better than my old nitrous gt
