This is my car audio page. I installed a new Pioneer DEH-3800MP head unit originally and then upgraded to the Premier 880PRS. I replaced the stock rear crappy speakers with MTX 6502's.

I painted the center console with red accents. I had to take it out anyway since I was replacing the radio adapter with a different one.

Old with old radio.

I also added the USB adapter so I can hook up a USB drive and put loads of music on it.

This is the old stuff.

New stuff.

I got an MTX 5500 10" in the side ported MTX box and a 300W RMS MTX Thunder amp for a decent price. I tell you what, that 10 hits harder and louder than the Kicker CompVR ever did. This was the original configuration that I went with.

The next time I upgraded I wanted to figure out how I could use the hatch cover that goes back there. The original box and amp location was way too tall to use it. Even with the amp in a different spot I couldn't close the cover. I made a custom box so that I could use the cover and keep my amp cool at the same time. I upgraded the sub to an MTX 8500 Super Woofer, installed the amp on the top of the box so that the massive amount of air that it pushes blows up the inside of the box and right onto the amp. Then I covered the whole thing in black suede. When people hear me they think there are 2 12's back there now and you can feel the pressure push your chest in and your eyes shake while your ears tickle.

I really need to install some sound deadener in the rear hatch area so my car will not rattle so much when I'm bumping down the road. There are some hidden bins under the rear carpet that rattle because they are just kind of sitting under there. I think I'm going to figure out a way to remove them
