I shaved the emblems off the rear of my car. It wasn't hard at all. I like the clean look. I sprayed down the emblems that were glued to the back with Goo-Gone. Then I took a little fishing line and cut them off. Then I used the googone to get the rest of the glue off. I had to take the back piece above the license plate off and pop the emblem out which left an oval that will get filled in and eventually repainted.
I took the front chromed piece off and painted it gloss black to match the hood. I'm going to have to redo it because I don't like the paint that I used. It's not durable enough. It has some chips in it from the bugs.
I did the headlight mod that totally changed the way the front of the car looks. This was a little nerve racking since you have to bake your headlights in the oven at 250 degrees for like 15 minutes to get the glue to soften. I used welders gloves when handling them since they were so hot. It takes a little prying with a flat screwdriver to get them going but once they are separating there's no turning back. When I was puting them back together I had to use some force to get them to go in all the way. A heat gun would've helped a little to soften the glue back up. I sealed the edges with some clear RTV for good measure. I opted to clear the corners of the orange reflector and left that spot chromed. The rest I painted gloss black.

That's it for now until I get my short throw shifter and my rims done and tires.
