My 1986 Z/28. TPI Engine.
Currently, I am not sure of the exact horsepower, but 450 - 500 is an estimate. I havn't ran the 1/4th yet, and a friend timed 0-60 with a stopwatch. I added a perfomance cam, new pistons, it was a 305, but I bored it to a 308. Upgraded the runners, hollowed out the plenium, 160 degree thermostat, took out emissions, put in better air filter, air foil, new ignition and coil, bosch spark plugs, hollowed out the maf sensor, throttle position sensor enhancer, borla headers, flowmaster chrome exhaust, carbon fiber drive shaft, pan hard bar, a bay brace, struts, B&M shifter (Automatic), and added other minor upgrades, which added up to alot in the end. I timed the 0 - 60 time with a stop watch, and have not yet run the 1/4th. But I do know I can out race a new 2002 SS, and give some 90's vettes a good run for their money. Not quite sure if I should add a super charger or a turbo charger. For sure no NOS though. I am not ever going to add that. I will for sure upgrade to a 383 in the future though.
Did a neat little thing with the handle/lock on the doors as well. Only me and few other know how to open the car, hehe.
