This 2006 Jetta GLI was purchased 12/7/05, traded in my old '03 GLI, and I didn't like it at first. A much stiffer ride, lower low-end torque, and funky seats didn't really appeal to me at first but now I cannot imagine going back to my old VR6 24-Valve GLI. I do miss the instant torque of the old VR6 but this thing is a little monster! I put in a GIAC computer system and it came alive! 13-second quarter mile runs and 32 mpg? I'll take it!
