Trying on some new shoes. This is after more than two years of late nights, and early mornings of allmost non-stop work!
This is shortly after bringing it home, I started to work on her right away.Turned out there was more rust than I thought. Everything that was'nt rusted out was bent, broken or missing, but I had been looking for an 82 Mercury LN7 for half my life, I regret nothing.
After many, many months of work. New floor, hood, both front fenders, part of the roof, the hatch, replaced all the interior and the glass. Even the rear quarter windows were home made lexan pieces, I had a hell of a time finding new ones.
Both rear fenders had to be replaced, we used what we had at hand. It's good to have spare parts lying arround!
My LN7 at her first car show! This was before I replaced the rear springs. The body went from white, to 2003 Viper yellow, and the interior went from red, to black.
My Ford EXPs and my Mercury LN7, you can never have too many!
My LN7 and my 1957 Chevrolet Crane, Big boys like big toys!
One last spin before the snow flies. Plus I was taking some pictures for the fordexp.com callendar contest!
I really like those black tailights they came with (from the factory)The EXP's had standard red ones until late 1984.
A great way to compare the front-ends of the Ford EXP (left) and Mercury LN7 (right)Both cars are 82's.
I hate winter, I wish I was driving her this year These things are an outright blast in the snow (nothing beats driving through a field of snow that's as deep as the top of your hood and not getting stuck!)
