1994 Toyota Supra TT 6-speed
Another big update coming!!! Considering I never finished the first one, anyway, it looks to be that I'm finally taking care of that stock twin problem ;). I have recently aquired, through my friend Godspdd, a PTE86mm single turbo setup. The turbo utilizes a .68a/r, is journal bearing, and will sit temporarily on an eBay manifold and HKS wastegate with dumptube. This setup also includes a 4" downpipe and midpipe. Since I will be relying on a VPC/AFC setup on the stock fuel setup, I will be limiting the boost to ~18psi and am hoping for a neighborhood of 450-480 whp. Again, many things will be changed to accomodate for more spool and boost, but for right now, it's about getting the single on there and simplifying everything. Look out for pics!!!
OK looks like I'll be making an update soon. I had a little trouble at the drag strip, and ended up thrashing my driveshaft and shearing some teeth off my rear end. I have a new 1 piece steel driveshaft, ATS Carbonetic differential, and new stock 3.13 gears. Check out page 5 for a complete list of mods. There are 3 things I am still emphasizing with this car:
1. Street Car (no removed A/C, 1000hp dyno queen here)
2. Function AND Form
3. Built for 3 purposes in mind besides a daily driver:
a. Drag
b. Road Race/Auto-X
c. Drift
