According to Nissan the R33 GT-R was the first production car to lap the N�rburgring (Nordschleife) in under 8 minutes, back in 1995. The Jaguar XJ220 is basically the only car to have lapped it quicker at the time, however given the price of the car it is sensational value for money. Standard weight is 1540kg (3388lb), stock standard figures are 0-62mph 5.3 seconds, quarter mile about 13.5. Exhaust system has freed up the motor with a few more HP.
