This is Havett, a somewhat barnyard rescue that I took under my wing. It's Ferrari Red in color and is dealership painted, but still has the stainless steel body. a future project of mine is to return Havett to it's original color, but that far into the future (Until I finish the flux capacitor). It sat for over 5 years before I bought it. The fuel system was shot as well as the fuel, the oil was shot, the brakes were all seized, A/C etc. Piece by piece I was able to get the car running again. Havett caught on fire twice, the first more severe that the second. I was standing over the intake after I dripped some gas into it to get some pressure for the new gas system I put in and it backfired, catching the cup of gas in my hand on fire. I spilled some on myself before I flung the cup and caught the trunk carpet, my brother, my neighbors car, and half the engine on fire. After I put myself out (I had lasting burns...) and all the rest out, the only thing ruined suprisingly enough was the carpet and my brother's shoes. The second time Havett caught on fire was when it cranked over for the first time in 5 years. Some gas spilled onto the catalytic converter and caught fire when the cc got hot enough. I put that out with a fire extinguisher (I was prepared) and has to give the engine a wash down. If that wasn't enough, I decided to take Havett out for a spin. On the highway. Like a moron. Hey, I wanted to see Havett at it's full potetial... Broke down. It was stalling for the longest time. I found out that the engine was flooding because of a blockage in the line that brings unused gas back to the tank. Oops... Fixed that, and with the exception of the gas gauge not working, Havett has been running great ever since.

Here is a great shot of Havett with my best friend sitting in the passenger seat.

As you can see, I still have some cosmetic stuff to do to Havett. Heres a view of the inside from the driver side.

Here's the good ol' engine, Pidgeot Reynolds Volvo V6 stock, with a new fuel distributer and regulator.
More pictures to come as I revive Havett!
