Transmition rebuild done ! :) 7/1/06 pics to follow tried new clutch master and bleed - no help
3" body lift makes this job alot easier. I could kick myself for not doing the lift before the heads. hmm pile of clutch shavings in bell housing. I est. transmition with transfer case weight at 120 to 140 lbs. with the center of weight at tranny mount. Harbor Freight sells a tranny jack rated at 450lbs for about $59 on sale. Its my favorite tool store. no pad left on pressure plate side. I think my slave cyl leaked taking out my clutch. flywheel and pilot bearing look good so I'll leave them as is. with slave cyl out Skid plate and tranny support getting new paint. All parts removed get new paint.
YAHOOOO! Its back in. Used the skid plate to support rear of the tranny so I could get the tranny jack out of the way. Then I worked it foward with my hands and feet. I can't wait till I can put on a fresh coat of mud. ;)
ALL RIGHT ! ! ! clutch is in and I'm back on the road.
Caution! dirty pics to follow.

Without a lift, stock everything we put on 29" swampers. Noticed a slight rub in the inner rear wheel well. It's a trade off. Swampers are rough noisy and don't get the mileage all terrains. As a stock daily driver I'd stick to 235s all terrains. Remember if you go bigger tires you will effect the speedometer reading. Modifying your B2 can get expensive fast. Many here may have tens of thousands in their ride and some may look like a train wreck but work awesome.
