I just bought a 1973 vw beetle for 800$ . It doesnt run yet but i am hopeing it will . It is baby Blue . It has a brand new bose system in it with a remote . Black interior and the rear seat has a small minor tear in it. The engine has a chrome shroud . Has brand new tires . It needs a new paint job . I am thinking about doing a so cal look with it . make it terquoise and suicide doors and a rack on top . I am trying to find a good price and a place to get airbags or hydraulics . If any one knows about vw clubs please tell me i am trying to find some . Also if you know about any swap meets going on let me know please.

Hi,air suspension are custom made from a small air compressor under the rear seat, two tanks and air sleeves bought from "sportruck.com". Custom flames with a relay and two spark plugs into the tips which inflames the gas not burned in the engine. Good luck with your project !

Ok. heres the secret w/o spending a ton of money. Same tire sizes on front and rear. Front shocks are Gabriel Gas Charged Shocks ($28 on jcwhitney's site). Rear shocks are chromed EMPI Adjustable Overload Shock Absorbers ($65 on jcwhitney's site). Street rod look for under $100... nice bug by the way. If your looking for used parts i have a ton of them since i restored mine.
