This is A Dodge Monaco from the good old year of '74! I saw her first a few years ago parked on 6300 W Addison('02-'03)on Valentines day and put a note on the car after that saying "If you ever want to sell this car here's my number" I'd see him around and he knew I wanted it but then in June of '05 I found out he had to sell the car.

So I got lucky, bought her for $1200, for me well worth it. W/ help from Nick Rigali I painted her, w/ help from the plumbers at work who are good welders I got the push bars. I cruise it pretty regularily and work at Chicago's Navy Pier so its fun to leave work and get all the tourists goin!

Details: Not much to mention, She was a vinyl top so that sucked, had side trim (studs Finaly cut off!), window vents, Hood turn signal markers, and yes!-the green interior. So shes an "Irish Bluesmobile" Got a prob w/ That?! (Ive since painted the interior and looks much better) I litered the dash, hid the lighter, got an Mt prospect aution sign on the back deck, The best of Sam and Dave 8-track, Cut the hole in the dash for the 8 Track player and a piece of the 95 st bridge gate that was laying there when Nick and I went, all the brothers down there loved it!

Thanks to all my Bud's for help and laughs, American & Foriegn Auto(Hell Yeah Honest John!!)Rich "Old land" Santoro,Jerry "R U Crazy or just Nuts?" Birkenheier, Joe "Thick Skin" Flores & Pat "Tamarack" Belzer, Tony "281 Toad" Whitney, Nick "Diamond Plate" aka "Biscayne Nick" & "Chopper" Pete Rigali,Scott "Mopar" Mellberg, Jim "Fuckin Kill You" Davis, Rockin "Dat's Right" Randle, Viking Mark and especialy Nels! for not crashing her that day! Big John & Jake Kola, Jamie (aka.-The Ugly Trucker aka-The Racer doing 5 laps at Sycamore Speedway on 3 tires and still be in the top 5 in a fuckin MOPAR!!!) Schmidt, OLD STYLE BEER! and to Pat Schmidt -On the Level my Brother!!!Ha! Thanks Tony W. Jr. for the cool pic!

And all the Security guy's at Navy Pier as well! Thanks guys!
MY Brother!!! Oh and you too Butch... Dont arrest me, eh?!

And Of course last but not least a big thanks to Jim Belushi, for his time (although tired as hell I'm sure when people ask you to sign 7 books in their hand all w/ huge messages!) his patience, attention for detail when it comes to a once in a lifetime photo and for just being a cool dude and fan of the Blues Brothers world, Thanks a bunch Jim That was a blast!
