I bought this car used with 36k miles and 3 years on it and one owner. I was lucky enough to have a friend who knows the original owner and was able to get a lot of info on the car like warranty work performed, TSBs, and that it had front-end damage previously (a big help at the dealer). This is my second SVT Focus, after flipping my first one, a 2002 silver 3-door.

Performance and show is the goal for under the hood, so I employed some boost, porting, and a healthy mix of polish, black and a touch of red. A high-flow cat pipe from CFM will allow the SC to breathe more easily, and the exhaust is a fully custom Magnaflow setup, featuring a 3" flex pipe, two polished fullsize mufflers, v-band clamps, and tig-welded 304 stainless, mandrel-bent tubing.

I've tried to keep the exterior mods subtle and tasteful, and so far so good, I think. There will be some major EDM bodywork getting done hopefully this year, so stay tuned for big changes!

The overall idea with my interior is to loosely emulate the Mk1 Focus RS in Europe, but in red. The steering wheel is the best example of this... the layout of the colors is identical to the FRS, but in place of the blue leather, I've used perforated red leather for the hand grips, and a solid "blackwood" finish top center indicator to match the radio and shifter bezels. The doorpanel inserts were rewrapped to match in perforated red leather. The shift and ebrake boots are two-tone perforated red leather and black solid leather, with the shift boot shortened for the short throw shifter. A number of parts are EDM (European Domestic Market), including the center console, radio bezel with clock, and the dash pocket under the steering wheel. I topped it all off with some Momo perforated metal knobs and pedals, and certainly not least: the gauges to monitor the supercharger.

I've had this setup installed for a few months now, and I'm not too thrilled with the KYB AGX dampers. The drop looked good for a daily driver, but I think I'll be investing in some Koni coilovers now that the car is my garage toy. The rear swaybar has 7/8" stainless steel clamping collars added to prevent the bar from sliding left or right through the bushings, and the stock spacers were swapped onto the new endlinks.

The combination of good tires, better brake fluid, and the Hawk HPS pads really improved braking performance in the dry, but it seems like I still cannot get rid of the slow response in the rain. I'm not sure if the Powerslot rotors have improved anything besides looks, so I will be going with Centric rotors when it comes time to replace them.
