F-Body Shifter came up on my Bench seat and I had to look into moving it to the forward location. Had looked into the Mcleod setup, would have been $500 to $700 by the time I had a trans shop install and modify. I ended up picking up a Viper T56 that has been converted to a F-Body input shaft. Problem was that they didn't do anything about the Adapter plate and VSS ring.

I modified the F-Body Hyd Clutch Slave by drilling the new bolt pattern to match the Viper's and TIG welded some re-enforcement in place.

There is a .50" differenct in thickness between the F-Body Bellhousing/Trans adpater plate and the Viper plate, I had a spacer plate machined to make up the differents between the two plate. I can now use the stock F-Body Bellhousing and Hyd Clutch Slave on the Viper Trans Adapter Plate.

Viper T56 trans and modifications.

Will have to do somethhing about the VSS. Looking into see if the HPTurner or EFILive will be able to flash the Viper VSS output to work on the F-Body PCM.
