I bought my CRX in September of 2005. It is a 1990 Honda CRX HF, altough it does have an Si swap including: engine, ecu, front suspension, front brake system, interior paneling, gauge cluster and seats. The only thing it doesn't have that an Si has is rear disk brakes, moon roof and rear wiper. But it does weigh quite a bit less than the Si, since the HF was the lightest model of all CRX's. NEW RIMS ----->
My '90 Honda CRX Si is one of my project cars, it has a Mugen body kit, Integra Type-R White Paint, custom turn signal housings, custom interior, 3 Alpine subs, cap, amp, Pioneer speakers, rims, suspension, full exhaust system, true cold air intake, MSD ignition with a 2-step control module and a 75 shot of NOS.
I also have a black hood now. The original hood ended up getting distroyed due to faulty hood locks. So I replaced it with a black one and decided that I liked it better in black. My plans are to basicly make it a STi killer.
My Engine
Two of my 12" Alpine Type E subs. Banging all the time of course. All my subs together push 600 rms and 2000 peak watts.
My new 70mm BBK throttle body and Edelbrock PerformerX intake manifold. This was deffinetly a good performance add on to my car. Also changed the sound of it alot. Giving it a deeper sound during acceleration.
My instant gain in horsepower secret... shhhhh.... otherwise, my 75 shot of NOS, amp and another sub.
The only thing you'll see when you race me!
Had a little fun rallying in a gravel/mud trail. Not to dirty but being able to drift in a FF car is always fun.
