Jeep's flagship of 1998...

The Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.9 Limited is without a doubt the most complete and most satisfying Jeep ever built. Very rare and only produced one year, it was one of the best combinations of power, comfort and off-road prowess of any of the midsize sport-utilities. The Grand Cherokee 5.9 Limited has style, power, luxury, and very serious off-road performance.

Showing off the Grille!

badazzjeep360's 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee The deep dish mesh style grille was one of the 5.9's trademarks. If it gets damaged, expect to pay 560 bucks for a new one (dealer price as of 06/07)

Replaced the ugly stock Amber corners.

Here is a close-up of the after-market clear corners.

*Sorry for the outdated pictures. My current setup includes all CRYSTAL CLEAR lenses.

The stock 16-inch Ultra Star aluminum wheels. Another trademark of the 5.9 Limited. These wheels were exclusive to the 5.9 Limited. The only other Jeep to offer these wheels is the 2001 60th Anniversary Edition XJ. They do not make these in a replica but can sometimes be found as a refurbished wheel from some online wheel companies.

Update: Since these photos have been taken, I have a new pair of tail lights.

The lights I now have is the model in the right pic. I will no longer buy any IPCW product.

The reason is explained on page 7.

Ever heard of spending 60 dollars for a windshield wiper?

Well, I know it seems crazy, but again, I wanted the Carbon Fiber wipers to match other parts on the Jeep. So, I found these...Brand: PIAA - From: The Tire Rack. I have no regrets because they are the best wipers I've ever owned. Oh, and the little spoiler on them does help with keeping them glued to the windshield at high speeds.

The hood louvers you see on the hood are actually stock. Yeah, stock! Most people think I added them as an aftermarket part. They were infact another added trademark of the 5.9 Limited. When you have an engine that large combined with a small engine bay, it needs some room to breathe and stay cool. I went ahead and removed the drip trays so there can be more airflow.
