My Fabrication Page
This page is dedicated to some of the fabrication I did to build this car. The first thing here is the headers.

These are made from 1 1/2 seamless steel pipe. The actual inside diameter is just a few thousand's shy of 1 5/8ths, so the are equal to an 1 3/4 header.

They are very thick, to support the turbo chargers. I had them ceramic coated inside and out to help control underhood heat. The design uses a flange on the end of the collector, so that I can change turbo set-up's and still use the same headers.

The next set of pic's are of the fabrication process for the liquid intercooler/intake assembly. The design uses a front wheel drive lower intake, some plate aluminum, a mitsubishi eclipse intercooler, and the top from a tbird supercharger.

I made dividers internally on the lower intake to try and even out the air distribution, so that I have even flow of the methanol.

I pressure tested the intake system to 30 psi, on the water and on the air side. The water is pumped from the trunk by a Ford Lightning intercooler pump, that is activated at 3 psi of boost by the TEC3 system. The alky pump is also activated at the same time, by the same heavy duty relay. If you look at the intake elbow, you can see the single 150 lb injector for the methanol.

The water lines are routed under the car through metal conduit, bent to fit without interferance from any other drivetrain parts.
