Project Pt Cruiser:
As far as what is done to the car so far:
1. Custom intake manifold powdercoated black chrome with red pearl. Equipt with ACCUFAB 75mm Mustang Throttle Body.
2. Fuel rail is a aftermarket Venom (My guy has a custom bracketry that he uses on all of his custom cars)...and yes the injectors match up perfectly....
3. The water neck had to be lifted up to clear the new bigger rail!....so of coarse I had to find one that matched up to the stock location, but custom work had to be done(aluminum welding)...but machinist polished it out perfectly and is beautiful!
4. I am using a drag manifold, and garrett turbo!...
5. Garrett provided us with their biggest core, and we made some awesome end tanks for it.....
6. Tile wastegate, Tile blow off valve!....
7. Running 1000cc RC injectors for now.
8. Custom made clutch kit, with machine lightened flywheel....have you seen these flywheels....they are enormous...my guy almost killed himself taking it out....weigh's more than my turbo and manifold together!
9. Quaife LSD
10. Driveshaft.com to create stage 5 axels!
11. AEM ecu with wideband capablilities, and serial data stream gauges and their injector resistor box(Awesome).
12. 3" downpipe by injen, and o2 housing I believe we are customizing injen's also.
13. Dash 8 incoming steel braid, dash 6 return steel braid, with bigger fuel pump..(We had to do a little custom work to fit the fittings on top of the tank)...our tanks don't give us much room on top of resevoir....tight fit!....
14. Completeley custom 3 inch exhaust
15. I have decided to lighten the car, carbon fiber rear hatch is on along with the California Cruisers fiberglass hood/side-skirt exit exhaust, and California Cruisers safe guard rear bumper.
16. My car gave birth to a very big and heavy balance shaft and chain. Can we say rev. quicker!!!!
17. AVID Dogbones.

UPDATE!!! 12/10/07
Added new pics of engine bay, as you can see all lines are conected, air and fuel. Throttle cable is mounted and working. New catch cans for radiator overflow, and oil. I had the big abnoxious and badly placed fuse box relocated closer to the fender, clearing a direct path for the turbo charge pipe to pass through engine bay, down through the front driver's side fog light hole(which is now cut out and meshed over) of the car for better/cooler air flow.
Pretty much all that is left is a few more connections for the AEM ecu (relocated inside car behind dash), and AEM Peak and Hold injector resistor box, and all gauges. Then technically is ready for startup. After which I will send final pieces to be chromed, or ceramic coated.
Side exit exhaust should be done by this week if side-skirts are to be finished being molded.
Major updated to follow in next two weeks!! It has been a very long wait, but car is coming together.

The car is now in running condition.  Yes, I know after long last the car lives once again.  We are now in deep tunning mode.  First we will tune wide open throttle, and then low rpms to idle.  Here are some videos I have uploaded:

So after another problem with the brake calipers leaking a few drops, I had them rebuilt, and now have to make a custom fitting for the rear two housings.(Today) I am hoping to be able to bleed the brakes properly. I have been having a hell of a time bleeding them for a week now. Pedal keeps creeping down.(Brakes are designed and developed by THE BRAKE MAN. Camarillo, CA.)

http://thebrakeman.com/drag_race

But we did get a couple passes down the street the other night.(We both just couldn't resist) This car moves..... I mean it really drives itself. Once you get it going, it wants more and more. I had to hold the car back from going to fast down the whole street due to not wanting to run out of room for braking purposes. Lot's of fun!!!

9/14/09

So we fixed the brake caliper problem.  We had to retap the calipers for a new fitting for the brakeline.  So far no leaks. I plan on driving the car all week making base tunes and a few moderate tunes. The car will go across the street for body work/paint. It will be there for about 3 or 4 weeks maybe less.

I need to order the rearview camera today for the rear glass wiper motor hole. And put the rear latches on the carbon hatch. Slap some of the interior on and she's basically road-worthy.

New wheels are on the car.
