Well, I was one of the first people to get the 2006 Eclipse GS model back in June, 2005. Back then, it was almost impossible to get a GT with a 6 speed, and not having a good job, and needing a car right away, I've got myself a UV Blue GS with Automatic transmission. Big mistake. Even though, the car looked amazing, and features were great compared to same cars in its class, the automatic 4 cylinder just didnt live up to expectations. So here comes May of 2006, and '07 models are just about to come out - I go to my dealer and to my surprise find an only 06 GT with 6 speed manual fully loaded (sports package, accessories, paint protection - the works) sitting on there. So i jumped on the deal with all the attached incentives (money off, financing, bargaining of course) and barely lost money on trading the first car in.

Now let me tell you, this is an amazing car and this is the only model you should buy if you are thinking of buying this car. 6 speed handling is one of the best in any stick shift i have driven and sound system is superb. 18" rims are very nice and the car is fully loaded with features (heated seats, sunroof, leather, and so on).

This is an awsome car, but I just hope I wont be gettin speeding tickets. Those deff ruin the experience.

I'll be putting red neons under the dash (I had blue ones in my old one, and probably paint the calipers. I dont think window tinting is good idea in already high profile car (on police radar that is).
