First off, this is a Father, Son project, but mostly the Father part, it's a project that we have little time to work on due to both of our different work schedules. It starts out with your basic first year 1984 Pontiac Fiero that came with a smaller Pontiac motor with little to no horse power. The main mission in this transformation is to make the car fast but look slow, your basic sleeper appeal. We took a 1996 Buick Park Avenue that was totaled out and took the motor, transmission, computer and entire wiring harness and are going to make it fit into the smaller rear wheel drive Fiero. The Buick contained a 3800 Motor(3.8L), the transmission also came with the motor but was new from GM. Here are some pictures of what we started with.

Throughout these pictures you will see my dad welding in new metal "walls" to rebuild the entire engine cradle. The engine cradle was badly rusted out but since has been completely renewed. We burnt out all of the old bushings and replaced most of them with brand new Polyurethane. The wishbone bushings were replaced with regular bushings you can get at your local O'reilleys. Now you'll start seeing pics of the cradle with the motor on, and pictures of parts we repainted, you'll also notice a few pictures of a rotor well long stort short we were changing the brakes when i went to take off the rotor the damn wheel bearing came out with it so we just bought two new bearings and changed both of them. You'll also see a few pics of a drive shaft, the reason for this is a buick motor wasnt made to fit into a fiero hub, so we had to take a new park avenue shaft take one end off to fit the motor end, and used the fiero end for the hub, works perfect. Since this car used to be a 5 speed, and we converted to an automatic then we figured we needed to do somthing about the center console. Well we went junkyarding and came up with the center console out of a 1996 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP that will be custom installed by us and made to look sweet and work great. Weird because my daily driver is a 1996 Pontaic Grand Prix GTP too.

Here in the next few days we should be starting on the wiring. We have also been debating making custom headlights that are solid mounted instead of using the ones that are motorized. Any and all modifications are done by just my dad and i. Nobody else has touched this car whatsoever. We will be making a custom Metal wing out of stainless steel, and the air intake will be fed through the air box in the side of the fiero. For a system we will go with a Sony CD player rockford subs in a custom center console box with a hidden 500 watt sony amp. This has been an ongoing project for about a month now and should take another month or 2 to complete and be driving as a daily driver . Most of the car will be totally custom and we are also in the market for some 5 spoke rims that will fit the car with no adapters or anything so if you have those pontiac aluminum wheels and want to rid of them sign the guestbook. Any comments or suggestions will be read and replied to. These here are pictures of the engine cradle with motor in and all the way set up. Now were in the process of making the custom air box, and finishing the wiring, were also starting to customize the shifter we picked off of the 96 Parts car. Were also in the process of making the sub box, but that'll have to wait until we get the 3.8 computer mounted and most of the wiring and shifter and lines done

WELL...WELL...WELL....UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE...we've still been vigorously working on the beast...recently we finished the motor...added a supercharger, sanded and painted the car, and did custom front headlights...check it out
