The last owners took it to get serviced and ran it for a while without knowing there was a mechanics rag inside the oil pan clogging the center sump. So It blew up, well a big chenk came off the block and the heads were messed up. so now i bought a 455 to replace the 430 that is inside. I wish it was the same stock height but the last owners lowered it a few inches of the ground. Now Im goiing to raise it to stock height. It's all good because I got it for free! Ill upload new pictures later. The inside is real clean. Its white leather with black trim. I want to know more info on my car. Anyone else have a 68 RIV? Oh I FINALLY FIGURED OUT IT WAS A 1968 BUICK RIVIERA! I also bought the original rally rims with the RIVIREA caps. Does anyone know a good chrome cleaner to clean the rust off the rims? well Now it's finally running and i need to get it registered. I will upload a video hopefully by this week. The car is nice and LOUD. The exhaust is on the sides instead of the back. I might get low profile tires to gowith my original rally rims.

Question, what year is your 455 motor? 1968 was a great year for GM E-body cars
