***NEWS***

11/13/06: Alcohol Injection Begun: I ordered my alcohol injection kit last week from alkycontrol.com. Julio is a smart guy, I can tell he has a firm handle on the alcohol injection concept just from talking to him occasionally. It will be installed sometime next week and then I'll go get it tuned by a great tuner and a great guy, Brian D. Cain. He knows his shit.

Installed my aluminum motor mounts today. I am very pleased. Much more consistent feel while driving... kind'a gives you a boost of confidence.

Stay tuned for the alcohol injection updates. I'm shooting for 500+ rwhp on pump gas.

11/01/06: New stuff: I've been working with the engine to get it running just right. Made my own intake to get rid of the air-constricting 2.5" system that was on the car before. Now, it's all 4". 4" 45-degree SS pipe with a 4" filter... an even bigger filter is on its way which will maximize air intake without having to risk breaking anything by running no intake. (K&N 4" ID x 6" OD x 9" height) I'll custom make one for anybody who wants one. Much cheaper than any namebrand system you can find, and most likely better quality. Just leave me a message or e-mail me @ peachykeenwight@gmail.com.

Got rid of the Bosch alternator and replaced it with a stock Series 6 Alternator with a new brass pulley. Not eating my belts anymore, and putting out a much more consistent 13 volts.

Also, I have found my boost leak issue. Split coupler from the cold-side of the intercooler. Replaced all couplers with red 4-ply couplers and t-clamps in the necessary places. Much, much better.

Solid motor mounts are on their way. 3", high quality stainless steel components to replace the nasty rubber ones.

Car is getting painted here in the near future. Viper red is my current selection, should be very good looking.

New pictures. Hoping to get out to a strip before winter to get a good quarter mile pass in. :)
