The heat shield that came with the intake rattled way to much so I removed it and cut the stock box to fit the tube and filter. I also added a new inlet for the air right behind the grille.
In order to give my truck a few more ponies, I decided to pull out the header and gut the first cat. This added a bit, but really helped give my truck a nice rumble.
Obviously this isn't a performance modification, but it was in the engine. Decided to dress it up a little and do some paint and a bit of loom...
Future Performance Mods...
First, a tune... then maybe a 6.0 down the road...
