I have has this car for 10 years now, starting out as a daily-driver and the one and only car in my young family. It was Seafoam Green and white when I bought it and had been T-boned. Slowly, it has grown into this sort of obsession, and is finally getting together into a nice ride.
Last year (2005) the original 283 cu inch engine finally died, so that's been re-done in October 2005, THEN the Powerglide took a dump a month after the engine was put in. Just two days ago (05-03-06) the new 350 Turbo tranny was put in with a re-furbished drive shaft and new U joints and carrier bearing. WHAT A DIFFERENCE!
