Well here is my baby, I love this car and I have big plans for her. I bought the car with a 2.5" turbo-back exhaust, a ported and polished manifold and a hacked air can with a k@n. The first thing I did was got a new paint job, now I don't really care too much about looks but I got a great deal that I couldn't pass up and I love how black looks on these cars so she got new paint.
I also got my head rebuilt with some crower springs and titanium retainers, bronze guides, and stock replacements for everything else except the cams (those will be later). It all got sealed up with a cometic headgasket and arp head studs.
*update Sep 2/06: walbro 190 installed and re-wired, 680cc pte injectors installed, apexi AFC installed, running 16 psi for now.
*update Sep 24/06: XSPOWER FMIC installed, still running 16 psi but it pulls so much harder (pics below)
*update Nov 7/06: Well I got myself a frank 4 turbo, 2g mani, tial wastegate, 3" intake, sbr 3500 clutch and a 2.5" o2 housing. Pics below.
*update Nov 10/06: I got myself a carbide bit and started porting my frank and manifold. I only ported the collector on the manifold to match the turbo since the runners look pretty big as is. It's definitely not the most professional port jobs but it will flow and that's all that counts. Pics below.
*update April 28/07: Finally I started work on installing my turbo setup. Removing the old mani and turbo was a bitch but 3 broken bolts later I had it off (The o2 housing is currently soaking in pb since it wont budge). I slapped on the turbo and mani, there are only 2 things that look like it needs moddifying. The ssac ic pipe and the wategate setup since the current setup would put it dumping out the intake side and my ic pipes go that way. The coolent feed seems to fit perfectly, I am not sure about the outlet but thats easy to modify. I got a ss oil feed and I am just going to use the stock drain line.
The Ic pipe was acually real easy to switch it to accomodate a downward firing turbo. I used the stock upper ic pipe as a 90 degree outlet for the turbo sending the air towards the passenger side and cutting the ssac outlet pipe straight and flipping the licp, cutting one end off. It seems to fit nice with lots of clearence. Pics below.
