i bought this 86 mustang for 1200 dollars and it did not pass the smoke check so i rebuilt the engine and tramision pay over 1800 with labor but now it runs strong and only has 600 miles on both. i planing to change my front bumper to a gt 87-93. Also my tail light and shaved my door handles. there this helpful guy that is helping me out for free and its convertible. But i don't know if i want to put 18,19 or even 20 if it fits or just but the original pony or the black pony. i am planing to make it all black with flowmaster, two of them

my car used to look like yours, you need to either find a 87-93 gt and get everything including the wiring harness and the bumper underneath, or get any front-end off of any 87-93, and then just get the urethane bumper-cover skin for a gt from cj pony parts or 5.0 resto for about $100 for new. if you do it this way, as i did, you will have to make up something to hold the bottom of the bumper cover because the fog light bar on the gt does that. i used a piece of 1/8" aluminium--easy! P.S. they are the same car underneath so everything bolts right on, however, i had to splice the newer wiring harness into my old one, because they arent the same--good luck! and for my money--i like the 5-spoke wheels!
