My great aunt bought it new at Jim Cooke Buick in downtown Louisville. It was garage kept all its life but in 1996, the water pump was going out and she was told by a brother in law who was also a used car salesman that the car was going to be too much of a hassle to repair and she needed to sell it and up grade to a newer car. Jus so happened his cousin wanted the car. Yeah, just so happen... anyway years went by and I was thinking of the old a car. I was talking to a good friend of mine about it and he said he had seen the car a week prior and it was for sale. So we went and I bought it back into the family. It has the 340 buick nailhead w/ four barrel, factory A/C, power steering, powerglide two speed, dealer installed flasher kit, tissue dispenser and tilt.
Third owner and still under 40,000. The man had it for 11 years and only put 600 miles on it! One of the pics shows how faded the paint was the night I brought it home. I just recently put it on 7in. rally's and buick flat caps, half headlight covers, a flowmaster and an original 1966 Jefferson Co. Ky. plate! Pics soon!! I also threw in a couple of photos of some others I've aquired and building.
