This is a old go-kart that me and my freind tommy have been working on. I bought it off a freind for 10 dollars, cuz he said it was "all rusted up, and not worth a penny".
I on the other hand, thought otherwise, i seen the oppurtunity and took it, so i forked over the 10 dollars. Boy was he right, it was almost a project and a half. There were more things seized in this rust bucket, then my 90 year old grandma!!!!!
But with a little bit of grease, and 8 hours of welding torch, and a 12 back of Bud. It was soon to be fixed.
Here is our steering system. When we first got this piece of shit, it was so siezed we had to pilot 3 holes into it, and spray 2 cans of lubricating oil, plus a shit laod of torch time to get the bitch unsiezed. Finally she broke loose and we had a steering system.
This is our 3 horsepower, ported, and gasket matched, briggs and stratton horizontal shaft engine, It was a POS when we first got it, but after a wee bit of a tune up, and major clean up, she fired in 3 pulls!!!
Here she is in motion, our centrifigural clutch doing its job beautifully, we were scared wed havta replace that beast, but she was perfect. Oh yeah, we have no breaks, so watch your step when were rallying through hawthorne =D
Great site for anyone that wants help with their Impulse, Asuna, Or Storm.
