My Jeep at the lake. I just have this one set of pics from the lake, I'll get more soon. I take it mudding every few weeks. I've worked on it a little bit, strengthened him up a bit, and now he can drive to the lake instead of being trailered. A few vacuum leaks, needs an oil change; the starter went out but me and my friend took it apart and pried the contacts closed again and now it works great. Needs to have a few kick panels un-wrinkled and a new coat of paint put on. Other than that it's a sturdy little thing. My daily driver to work, turns a ton of heads!

Update: changed oil, still have to change again. Maybe take out pan and scrub it. fixed vacuum leaks, new carb. Old one had a hole in it. Starter went out again, the drive was locking in the out position. Got a new drive and rebuilt it, and AGAIN it works great. Until the next thing gives :)

Starter finally gave out. I've rebuilt it about 4 times, but it lasts less and less each time. Paid 70 bux for a shop to rebuild it, the thing is like new. They even painted it. Haven't put it back in yet, it snowed 4" yesterday >:(

Hey, Thanks for the info about getting my jeep legal... I still haven't done anything with it yet cause I need to get a title for it. I am to the point now that the jeep is considered done enough that I can take it offroading. I like your Cj2a. Do you have any plans for it? Let me know when you add new pictures.

That's a pretty nice old Jeep. Congrats on keeping it running. My uncle has an old one like that and they're the hardest things in the world to get going when their that old. Good luck on whatever you plan on doing to it.
