The other QX4 (silver) is a very close friend of mine. The picture below on the right is two other cardomain members. My Q is in the center
My dome lights reflect off the ground!!
Spring '09 - Photos taken at Belle River Marina, Belle River, Ontario and Casino Windsor parking lot level 6, Windsor Ontario (Detroit, Michigan skyline in bakcground)

The vehicle came equipped with the dark tint, this was available on the 99.5-00, the 97-99 had the chrome tint. The tint on front passenger/driver window were done aftermarket (near perfect match) 20% is the maximum allowed here in ontario.
Notice my tinted turn signals above the fog lights, a nice touch I think as there is too much glass going on in that area. The 01+ QX4 toned it down here and that was my approach. I also painted the trim pieces next to the fog lights silver to match my mesh grille
Those wheels only cost me $900 with nearly new rubber (Falken!) whole set tires/rims!! i got an incredibly good deal. The bolt pattern on these Q's and their offset/backspacing is hard to find.
My aftermarket taillights are probably my most complimented piece before my wheels. It took me 6 months to decide if i should get them, didnt want to take away my vehicles appeal. Their tinted effect make them much more bearable than most aftermarket all out chrome "euros" and I dont think i could ever go back to the stock ones.
I made that logo myself on a CNC machine at work, also thats the original brochure for the 1999 QX4, I found it on ebay. The Subs are 10" clarions in a sealed box, the amp is a 1500W Boss. I purchased the whole arrangement for $140 used and installed myself. Everything works great. I wanted a tasteful sound, not too much bass, My friends that know their music have told me that it is definately an amazing sounding system, the bass is tuned perfect even for rock or reggae
the day i got my rims, cameraphone pics

chrome exhast tip i added
blue LED dash lights
WINTER 2008
Finally bought a new deck, pioneer fh-P800BT, its amazing. It has full integration with my cell phone, i can make and receive calls, the sound comes through my stereo speakers. The quality is AMAZING no echos or nonsense, its definately perfect. I also stream music from my phone to this stereo and the quality is perfect too. I was very impressed. Plus with the double din look it looks very factory. This definately makes my q a true luxury vehicle. I get in the car and dont need to touch my phone , everything syncs up and works flawlessly. (VIDEO on youtube here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wYwvuATKHHk )
The microphone is behind the steering wheel, i can be heard loud and clear speaking at a normal tone
USB is also compatible, I have a flash drive hooked up right now, later on a huge hard drive will be added. I can scroll folders/albums/artists....sweeeet.

FALL 2008
notice tinted turn signals..first tint job will do a better one later. the spots on the floor are from krown rustproofing which i do yearly. Also this is a good pic showing both the upper and lower mesh grille. I call it the chicken coop grille. I figured it was worth a shot and tried it and i actually love it i get alot of compliments.

I positioned the box so that i had a foot and a half of space between the box and the rear seats, this allows the cargo cover to clear and gives a hidden spot for my cargo net that includes spare oil, battery charger, air compressor, etc. So i have a functional space for stuff without worrying about damaging my subs and it always looks clean. For full pictures of my Installation which i did all on my own, visit http://forums.nicoclub.com/zerothread/381231-qxxx4s-subsamp-install and for a video visit http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QC9gIphmOLc
The cargo cover is a great feature..i got lucky it just clears the amp!
I upgraded my old dome light which had a 2 LED setup. I got a 36 Flux LED board that is brighter and looks very new car-y.
SUMMER 2008
First ever GTA NICO members meet Aug-2-2008
SPRING 2008
I painted those covers next to the fog/turn signal lights, I think once i get the mesh grille fascia itll look really nice
These are LED maplights, really change the feeling of the car at night when their on, its like the moon is in my car...way better than that filament bulb yellowish white colour! Who knew $5 ebay LED's could make such a difference (cameras not too good at night with no flash but you can see it...)
I repainted the wiper arms as you can see in the other pics they were all chipped and were half painted half/chrome/starting to rust. The chipped paint exposed the chrome which blinded me when the sun shines off it. I painted them a smoke grey and they look great!!
