My car is a '92 Saturn SC2. DOHC. 5 speed. I bought the car in August of 2005 for only $800 from a junk yard. Clear title and all, they had it because it needed a new clutch. They installed a clutch and sold the car to me. Not a bad deal actually. Or so I thought. Eventually the timing chain tensioner went bad, and you know what that did. Blew my engine up, the timing chain destroyed everything. So with this misfortune i do have a brand new engine now. I also had to replace the radiator and motor mounts while it was in the repair shop already.
Car: $874.
Motor, radiator, motor mounts: $2,900.
I have MANY plans for this car, but money is always a issue. (See page 5 for future mod list.)

September 8, 2006: $268 repair bill for a stupid coolant sensor

January 5, 2007: Another repair, this time it's the water pump
May 17, 2007: I need a new battery now.
June 14, 2007: My car is still out of commission.
