I also recently discovered that my car was originally a St. Louis Blues Cuda, there were between 40-50 of these cars made, they were ordered from the factory in 2 tone paint. The bottom color was white, and the top was either B3 or B5 blue. (mopar paint codes) A dealership in St. Louis ordered these cars in 1970 to celebrate/commemorate thier new NHL Hockey team, the blues--who also made it into the stanley cup finals that year.

The rumor is that only 8 of the St. Louis Blues Cuda's came with 383 engines (for you import types, that's 6.3L) and these 8 cars were GIVEN to the star players and coaches of the team to drive around in for promotional pictures, media attention, etc. The rest of the cars came with 318 V8s (5.2L) and were either sold to the general public or given to the average players to drive around for a year before being sold as used cars.

Here's a few pics of what they looked like (and what Mine will look like when I am finished)

Here's the clue that told me I had a Blues Cuda, under the red paint was orange, under the orange paint was this blue/white scheme. (normally the codes would tell me this information, but the tag with the codes for my car was removed before I ever got it, so I have to investigate to find what was original, like finding the original paint color under all the repaints)

More to come later--My daily driver is a 1998 Dodge Dakota that will be getting a big block V8 swap. I just happen to have an extra 383 lying around, and a spare 440 crank, so it'll be getting a low deck, 426 wedge big block, with a 5spd TKO
