Former V6, I removed it and installed a LT1 from a donor 97 t/a that had been wrecked. I swapped the gauges, tranny, engine cradle, ecm, from the t/a to this car. The t/a had 88K on the clock. The additional wiring in the engine compartment was installed by the previous owner who put blue street glow on the car. I put new Fulda Extremo supreme, Z rated tires on it, the tranny has a shift kit, and shift points have been reprogrammed at the ecm. I put a loudmouth exhaust on it & it sounds very good.

The interior is very clean, the engine compartment could stand to be cleaned up some, and the street glow wiring installed a bit less conspicious, but overall, it's a very nice, smooth running, "quick", little sleeper.

Looking at the pix, for a second I thought you shortened your windshield. Well, you kinda did, I guess. Must eliminate the sun shining in your eyes, that's cool. Great car. I got a soft top recently. Were a 2-car family, but will probably end up being a 3-car family cause I gotta still buy a sport ute, and won't give up the bird or the GPGT. These are a blast to drive. No regrets.

LT1's are the MEANEST small blocks ever made in my opinion. Nice ride bro. Definetely 5 starz. I dont know about you, but I hate Imports. Thats why Im callin you out to come to Muncie Dragway on Aug 3 2007. (Fri) VICTORY HONDA FAST AND FURIOUS FRIDAY NIGHT!! Presented by the US Army. Extreme Street Racing 6:00 pm to 1:00 am. Rain date Aug 10th. Imports vs. Domestics. Contests. Race $25.00 or watch for $10.00. I say lets beat up on some imports. Definetely check out and rate my car when you get a chance! LaTeRz!

Did you have to replace the rear end (axle) as well to match the power of the LT1 with the gear ratios?
