The legacy lives on?
For about eleven years now, I?ve been swapping V8?s into old Datsun ?Z? cars. This 1974 269Z you see pictured is my recent creation. The car was purchased in April of 1998 in Santa Monica. After towing her back to Detroit, the tired old 2.6L straight six was removed and a healthy 400hp V8 was dropped in. She?s been a good car to me, winning more races than she?s lost. In the spring of 2006, new exhaust (side pipes!) were added and a manual valve body was installed into the TH-700R4 automatic transmission. To help get the tranny moving, a 10 inch 3500 stall converter was swapped in as well. She should move pretty good this summer!
