After Searching for a while for a car, i managed to find one i wanted...a 6cyl car (no more puny 4 cyl), adequete base hp. (175) I managed to find after 3 months of searching... a 2000 Grand Am GT1. Now this car is an amazing starting point for a really powerful car. No more puny imports for me boys and girls, domestic all the way.

Now to begin with, lets take a look at the car. Weighing in a around 3066lbs, you can tell she's a little heavy. What really demands the attention however, are her dimentions. She's a little more than 13 ft. long and a little more than 5 ft wide. She's definatly no mini cooper.
She sports a 3.4L / 207cu.in. ohv V6 w/175hp and 205 torque which is more than enough omph to get you around and then some, but it wasn't enough for me. I like my cars fast with a nice interior... exterior beauty come after fast if there's money.
Here are some of the most recent pics of the car
with the custom made GT1 emblem

and the smoked headlights (my fav touches by far)
So, first thing i did was put the sound system in.
Two 12in Kickers in the back running 1800 peak Watts with a 944 RMS Kicker amp, a 1.2 farad capaciter and a Panasonic CQ-C8303U head unit. If i may say so... this $2000 dollar system, was worth every penny.
Next comes the engine bay...

Polished up the intake manifold, replaced the stock air box with an Intimidator cone filter (it was even red to match my theme) and removed the stock ram air to allow a higher flow rate into the cone.
Next... Underbody.
In my opinion, there's only one good company out there for underbody and that is streetglow; their only (in my mind) decent system: Optix LED underbody. So 7 colors later, the underbody kit is on.
Next... Tint,
i want to do something special with the back window, so... for now, the two side windows have a 35% tint on them... just enough to get the point across as well as be borderline annoying at night.
Next... Interior Paint...
A, B, and C Pillars are all painted mirrored black.
The drivers A pillar sports a custom molded pillar with two slots for my Phantom Series Autometer Voltmeter and Air/Fuel Pods.
This touch... i like a lot.

So i wanted an Oil Pressure guage, but... no room in the pillars... so... we made a custom mold off the air vents and molded an Autometer Comp Series Oil Pressure Guage into the middle air vent
(s*it's hott right?).
Interior red lighting and some custom wiring for the radar, navigation, and other accessories a=are all boring, but bottom line is that we wired a kill switch to a fuse to a "quad" adapter straight to the battery so I don't have to worry about the ignition switched outlets.

Future Plans... most def...
Borla or SLP Exhaust
S&S Headers
DHP PCM (after turbo)
62mm Throttle Body
Cold Air
New Port and Polish
Maybe cams
New headliner
A few more interior accents
