This is My 1985 volkswagen scirocco I got for my birthday. Plans include hopefully getting a 16v for it and a high performance exhaust. So far it has a 8v and a Thrush muffler nothing special but it still goes pretty good.  Hey if anyone knows what color this car is could you leave a comment? i was told it's flash metallic silver, but it looks more like gold to me. I think it may have been resprayed at one point in it's life not positive. I am curious if this is an original vw scirocco color.

The car only had 113,661 miles on it at the moment a little high but fine for me.

I just orderd some Intrax lowering springs for my car they should be in bt the end of next week. It says it will lower the front by 1.8" and the rear by 1.7" I was wondering if anyone has lowered their car this much and if I will scrape on crappy roads? I was also told my stock struts will work is this true? another thing i was wandering is about the rubber at the top of the struts it appears they have broken through what should i look for to get a good replacement for these??

Hi! with stock hight you wouldnt have rubbing issues even on 16's. 15in with 6,5 to 7 in width and a reasonable lowred suspension is still ok. But if you do something extreme to any of those areas, you will have some rubbing issues...try vwvortex.com sometime, many good advices!
