Some pictures of the drivers quarter after getting a real sander after it, and pictures of the trunk.

Here's a shot of the drivers side rear quarter after some sanding. I didn't get very far before I broke the sanding disc. You can now see the biggest brazed on patch yet, making up the entire front half of the outer wheel well:

This is a closer shot of the drivers side rear quarter. So far this one quarter houses drilled holes, a dent, brazed patches, and rot:

The last and closest shot of the drivers side rear quarter. This thing has definitly seen better days (and better bodymen!):

Here is a picture of the gas tank after pulling it. It appears to have been painted white with house paint or something:

This is a shot of the trunk after dropping the gas tank. Lots of rust and rotten metal that was just sitting on the tank came down with it. Yay for repro trunk pans:

Finally, here is a surprise I found inside the passenger side quarter. Must have fallen down in there quite some time ago!:

looks like its a fun project. Rust is never fun. I cant believe the floors on the inside are that solid. My fairlane didnt have any body rust but we did have to replace some of the floors. check it out sometime and again good luck with the project.

I saw the picture of your dream car on the Charger site. If it turns out the way you photoshopped it, it is going to look great! Best of luck with it - looks like a really fun project!
