Here are some pictures of the bad spots uncovered. I did this with a grinder in about half an hour. Under all the bondo, it really isn't all that bad. Most of the rust and rot is in the usual "Charger spots"

Top of the passenger side quarter. As you can see, someone brazed a patch on in this area some time ago:

Top of the passenger side quarter at the base of the sail panel. There is another brazed on patch here. This will be one of the harder spots to fix, but a piece off of a donor car will make it much easier:

Forward part of the drivers side lower quarter. Just the normal rot here:

Now the rear part of the drivers side lower quarter. Yep, ANOTHER brazed on patch!:

Here's the lower rear passenger side quarter. And there are two more big brazed on patches. This obviously didn't work too well:

looks like its a fun project. Rust is never fun. I cant believe the floors on the inside are that solid. My fairlane didnt have any body rust but we did have to replace some of the floors. check it out sometime and again good luck with the project.

I saw the picture of your dream car on the Charger site. If it turns out the way you photoshopped it, it is going to look great! Best of luck with it - looks like a really fun project!
