alright i did a few more things...mostly because i broke stuff.
i added a new waterpump, plug wires and a new rearend.....my old 8 3/4 was a 4:10 which i blew out doing a burnout. so now i have a 3:73. I took my truck to the local 1/4 mile track (famoso) and it ran consistantly 15.4s and 15.5s with stock timing and the 4:10 gear
