Ahhh Maintenance......
This car came with every record of maintenace since new and when reading it, the only thing that was missing was the 60k service.
When I went to look at the car to buy, I pulled the front plug wires and noticed that they were a bit damp, but caused no running issues.
Getting started taking everything apart.
When I got to the back valve cover, I started by pulling the plug wires, I was surprised at what I found.
Plug number 2 is completely submerged in oil.
After getting all of the covers off, I was impressed to see how clean the motor was on the inside.

Now I finally got to see how the motor has held together. In checking all of the clearances, I was surprised to find that all of the valves were still in spec. All of the shims also had a awesome finish to them yet. Definately something to be said for frequent oil changes and MOBIL 1.
As for the spark plugs, may they rest in peace. Many were well out of the gap requirement of .042-.046. Some were found to be as much as .080.
List of things done:
60k adjustment
All new Fel-pro gaskets
New Motorcraft AGSP32FM plugs (replaces stock AGSP32PP which are now obsolete)
New Motorcraft wires WRE-4081
C&L 73mm MAF
