Wednesday I took the car over to Minute Muffler to have 2.5 inch pipes with Flowmaster 50 Series mufflers, an H-Pipe, and chrome turn down tips that just barely stick out under the rear valence.
Why oh why didn't I have the muffler guy scoot the mufflers a little farther away from the rear end... Ahhhh!!! That almost created a problem when I removed the third member from the rear end. I barely got it to squeeze between the mufflers. I had to rotate the 3rd member 90 degrees to get it down. Here are pics of the custom made axles, the rebuilt 3rd member, and the cleaned housing.
