Those are great Colts! I had a 78 through high school just like yours! Blue and everything! I will get pics posted of mine on here someday. Nice work! Colts are the best! I am gonna get one again someday now that I am all grown up! Hah!

Listen, i have the only mitsubishi colt lancer 1977 in Colombia. This model wasn't sold in my country. It was personally imported from japan by its first owner.
Now, i'm kind of trying to fix it up...but it's impossible to find parts here in Colombia. As i have some friends in USA i could ask them to buy some parts if i knew where i could find them. I'm looking for the silver (chrome) ring around the headlights and also that frontpart (grill) between the headlights... If anyone could give at least a clue where to get them, would be really helpful.

I used to have one of these cars, same color, too! I got it from a friend for $70. Never should have given it to my cousin, i swear! Fun little car.

hey i can help on the mitsu swap. its a much beter motor technically than the 2.2 chrysler. it literally bolts in with mighty max 2.0 motor mounts and the mighty max tranny. if i were you though i would go the route i did and use your auto car (bigger tranny tunnel) and use the th-350 tranny. the mighty max trannys suck for any serious power. any questions you can email me at hairynuts32@sbcglobal.net
