torquerules's 1987 Ford Mustang

torquerules's 1987 Ford Mustang

This is 1987 LX 5.0 Ford Mustang. This car has been a labor of love for many years and is mainly a car show participant/street cruiser; it is always evolving into something more radical. Right now I guess you could say that it is a "street" Street Renegade car with road race flavor (strange mix huh?). This car has many modifications and I am only listing some here. I'll just say that A LOT of time and $$$$ invested in my baby and I keep pouring more into it! Just one thing though, my father and I did ALL the work on this car ourselves, and we have enough of a machine shop in our garage that there are a lot of one-off custom fabricated parts on this car.

**Look for the car in 5.0 Mustangs and Super Fords magazine (August 2005 issue) and Mustang Enthusiast magazine (June 2005 issue).  It won Editors Choice at the NMRA Ford All-Star Nationals (Columbus 2003), and at the NMRA World Finals at Bowling Green (2004) two feature shoots were done on it!!!!**

*Right now I am concentrating on perfecting what I have and tuning the suspension a little with different struts, shocks, front springs, and front sway bar to allow the car to do better at a drag strip without compromising handling (of course on a road course those M/T DRs would have to go).

I can see all (well, most of it) the blood, sweat, tears and love you guys have put into this beautiful, high-tech maching and I can see it all the way from Oklahoma. I thinks its really cool that a Dad/Son team up like this. Congratulations and may more honors come your way. I saw you on Mymustangsite and had to come see her. Glad I did.
