I've owned the Z since 95. Lots of new stuff... Replaced radiator, urethane bushings, tie rod assemblies, u-joints/driveshaft, Centerforce I clutch 5-speed, new carpet and Z mats, drivers seat re-upholstered with new foam. New KYB's.  Rebuilt brakes.  K&N cone filter and big throat throttle body. Short-throw shifter. 6-2-1 Motorsport header with 2.5" aluminum exhaust and Dynomax muffler - sounds awesome!

P79 L28 with flat-top pistons.

I always use Mobil-1 oil with a Mobil-1 or K&N oil filter. The tranny and diffy get Redline synthetics.

I need to repaint the car as the flaws have grown unbearable. Maybe someday it'll all come together, just can't afford to pour $$$ in it right now.

No dash cracks! Conditioned regularly with Eagle One Dashguard conditioner. Even the clock and a/c have not been a problem - lucky so far.

Thinking about selling it cheap to an old friend of mine who has helped me with the car over the years.  He was recently diagnosed with leukemia..he'll probably live another 20 years but it is terminal.  He can still work and he manages a body shop in Miami so he would make the Z perfect again and enjoy the car. Update: My friend was laid off and doesn't want the car.  He has some other projects he'll focus on which works for me as I'm not ready to part with it yet.

Really appears to be a nice straight Z. Hang on to it, you'll get the chance to do the paint one of these days, and good Z'cars are getting hard to find. I've had mine for 27 years now almost and I may never really be done with it.
