WELCOME TO MY SITE & REMEMBER TO VOTE BEFORE LEAVING
LIST OF PERFORMANCE MODS, VISUALS, AUDIO, SECURITY, ETC. ARE ABOUT 1/3 DOWN.
DONE RECENTLY:
Dyno tune on 12/20/08. Got 381.4 wheel horsepower with 413 torque. This was at 23.5 psi with a manual boost controller! With the electronic boost controller this would be near 400 as it would maintain the 23.5 psi as opposed to the manual dropping off. If I get a larger front mount with TGV deletes I'll be well into the 400whp range.
What you have to remember is that most rear wheel drive cars have around 10-15% drivetrain loss while AWD vehicles like mine have around 22% due to all the extra axles, drive shaft, transfer case, etc. So if you have 400whp you have at least 500 crank hp since 500x 80% is 400whp, but more like 513 x 78% = 400whp. Since these cars have more torque with the AWD and a good launch at 4.5-6,000 rpm your off like a bat out of hell with head, neck and body pinned to the seat as you hit max rpm or 28mph max in first gear right away and as you shift to second gear you lunge forward for a second. It's a great experience if you've done it or want a friend to show you!

Picture taken on 8/24/08. Now I have the Evo license plate bracket, smoke shield, TSX Projector HID retrofit headlights and license plate delete painted GOLD.

I relocated my 3 DEFI gauges from on top of the clock in the center dashboard to the A-pillar. I'm so glad the single pod for the A/F fit in the corner still and the view was unaffected.

Suede headliner, armrest and visors! Ohh so smooth!

Brand new purchase - 8cm exhaust housing for my FP Green
Another recent purchase is the Tial 38mm external wastegate. It's going to be noisy!
I love the look of the 06's totally customized with the shroud painted gold with the gold rings painted gold. There's also a light black paint on the round lens'.
JE Pistons are installed and can handle 24psi with the front mount safely!
I didn't get actual photo when it was installed, but this is what the unequal length headers from Gruppe-S and the uppipe from Helix looks like. Equal length headers give you about 5 more hp, but lose the boxer rumble of the engine, so almost everyone goes unequal. The uppipe feeds the turbo it's power and is a litte wider piping and flow just like the headers.
Montauk Point Lighthouse (end of Long Island, N.Y. taken on 7/7/07)
I had no idea the FP Green was this much bigger than the stock VF39.
Forced Performance Green Turbo is in! Also Perrin turbo inlet, Power Enterprise 850cc fuel injectors and Walbro 255l fuel pump.
2005 Evo 8 MR front seats
Perrin inlet has 5 layers of silicone and is 3" all the way around and a smoother curve. It tapers to 2.4" so it fits stock turbo inlet.
April 2006, two months after I bought it.
Notice all magenta/pink stickers/emblems are now gold to match the rims, brembo's and metallic paint.
I always wanted to drive a 6 speed. Can you believe this car is my first? Was looking for AWD, turbo and of course, FAST! I am a looney when it comes to waxing my car. Right now, I have seven coats of Zaino Brothers on most of the car. Lots of my photos focus on this. I always loved black, but this car has gold, green & red metallic paint when sun is focusing bright. The color is Java Black Pearl. I read that only 3,600 total cars were made in the U.S. in 2004 and I haven't seen many like this. Maybe this color was the least popular between the blue, silver & white?

---------------------------------------------------------------------
My car at the dealership two days before I took ownership end of February 2006.
Cleared headlights with flat black paint around headlight housing and changed bulbs to Raybrig
Better than the stock look, right?
Painted grill gold and surrounding frame glossy black
I love the Greddy Evo exhaust 2. It remains one of my favorite mods because it maintains the rumble and amplifies it just the right amount so it's not overly noisy.
Perrin short ram intake now replaced with Big MAF.
Green Tein hood struts painted in GOLD for a better match!
Prodrive battery tie down & oil cap in nothing else than GOLD!
Cusco turbo heatshield to deflect some of the hot air the turbo makes and keep away from intercooler (no longer used).
Perrin Large top mount is approximately 2.3 size the volume over the stock STi intercooler. Replaced with Greddy front mount.
See the difference? Besides the overall outersize, it's a matter of the larger cooling fins and flowing capacity. This is why they consider it 2.3 times the stock one (no longer used)
Sun Automobile Hyper Voltage
Custom hoodlock welded to radiator frame to keep intruders from getting under the hood and stealing hop-ups or taking the car.
Volk Racing LE28N 18" X 8.5" forged & lightweight wheels rapped in Yokahama Advan A048 225/40/18 track competition tires. Also Rays wheels black lugnuts.
Cusco rear strut bar. Also, 2-10" Phoenix Gold Speakers with Massive Amp.
Cusco 22mm rear sway bar.
Endlinks add strength over stock and allow pressure to be transferred more to the sways.
Front underbrace taken from front of car. It mounts in four places with stock 17 & 19mm bolts.
Front underbrace taken from passenger side
All trunk badging is gone & tinted the clear part of taillamp & 3rd brake light.
A lot better than the stock look!
JDM style taillights. Only inner light comes on with parking light. Now replaced with the 06 taillamps tinted.
When braking the inner lights get brighter and the outer lights come on.
Raybrig parking light bulbs aren't too far off from true Xenon
Xenon lights and Raybrig parking light bulbs are on here.
3rd brake light is tinted.
exhaust starts off from the passenger side and gradually makes it's way to the driver's side.
Greddy Evo2 catback exhaust all shined up with No.7 chrome polish
Ever see what the stock turbo inlet and waste gate looks like from the exhaust side?
Invidia v3 downpipe with high flow cat & divorced wastegate (no longer being used). Went to the Invidia v2 without the cat and no divorced wategate for more power.
DCCD = Driver Controlled Center Differential = can change the transfer case torque from 35/65 to 50/50. Also STi OEM shift knob.

Stock pain black shifter knob painted numbers nothing else than GOLD, with a little red.
A driver's cockpit with many gauges! Turbo, EGT, oil pressure, air/fuel, volts & turbo timer.
Blitz turbo boost controller mounts neatly out of the way in center sun visor!
AEM wideband air/fuel ratio gauge. I love it!!
Defi control unit, Kenwood KDC-X689 with MP3, CD, Sirius, iPOD, 3 line display & 180 degree theft concealment! Also, Apexi turbo timer with volts & JDM S204 hazard light switch. Ohh, don't forget squash air freshner.
Would you believe me that this is my hood? Just as good as a mirror!
see the gold & green?
How about here? It's so much better in person.
Varis Carbon fiber B-Pillars (very rare!)
Hotshot heated windshield washer spray
Basically it attaches to the washer resevoir and stores the liquid for 15-30 seconds and then shoots it out on the windshield at 150 degrees. This keeps the nozzles on the hood from freezing and clogging up the lines. You manually get to chose when to use the wiper blades. Other mode of operation is to spray automatically but the wiper blades will go up also. This isn't as good because you'd hope that the blades aren't frozen onto the windshield and thus burning out your motor. It's mainly for ice and snow when it smears and then you use your wiper blades making the smudging worse, but no liquid is coming out. Very annoying if you experienced this. Also good for easier bug removal and bird poop and generally just cleans better.
