Here is my 1990 Chevy Beretta GT
Well over the weekend friday night the 30 of october my timing chain broke after 291109 miles. was heading out to my dads and she snapped. so sunday I replaced the chain only to find out that my valves were bent. so Monday I took the day off and rebuilt it. I bent 8 out of 12 valves. 10 dollars a valve. So word of wisdom, change the timing chain at the right intervials. about $50 with gaskets and they are not thet hard to change with the motor in the car.
All the work on this beretta was done by me. from the paint to the exhaust. The color is burnt orange and smoke gray. Designed this paint scheme on playstation need for speed game.
Added the GTZ bumpers and side skirt. This is the ground skirting that I made out of the old Gt bumpers that I had. I took the lower parts off the old bumpers and worked them to fit on the bottom of the GTZ bumpers. Have blacked out the side marker lights as well as the tail lights.

These are some older pictures taken earlier this year. Notice no skirting or sunroof yet.

This is with the sunroof installed. It is an electric spoiler type.

Here is a picture of the overhead console that I modified to hold my sunroof switch.
This is how life started for this beretta GT. I purchased this car for $100 for parts. My other beretta was totaled. front clip all messed up. Bought this for the front end parts. Was told when I bought it that the engines was messed up. After tinkering with it for a while I decided that I like this car better and started fixing it up to become what you see now. All that was wrong with the engine was 2 bad coils.

Still working on detailing and researching possible upgrades. Have an extra engine, still deciding if I want to install performance parts on the other engine or do an engine swap. The engine in it now is the 3.1 v6 mounted to the 5 speed manual. The car has 282000 mile on it and it still runs strong.
Haven't done much modification yet. Have done a little cosmetic work. Added an cold intake. Plan on redesigning the intake to get air from either the wheel well or behind the grill. Actually waiting for this engine to shoot craps before I mess with the exchange. I'm getting 28mpg on premium gas. so I'm happy right now with this engine.
