This was a 9 year project starting with a 64 Fairlane 500 that had been sitting in a backyard in Riverside,CA for 10-15 years. I was going to make a TBolt clone but decided to go with a full frame and mustang II suspension. The car has many body mods including stretched rear wheel openings, Smooth firewall, complete fiberglass tilt front end, fiberglass trunk, bumpers, custom interior and full 12 point roll cage. Uses a Currie 9 inch with disc brakes and 3:91 Detroit Locker. It has power rack and pinion steering. The latest addition to the 500 cubic inch 385 Series big block is a Vortech centrifical blower adapted from a "Carb-in-a-box" Big block Chevy kit. I had to machine a few parts but it was not that bad. It would be easy to do it again. I have just added a Lentech AOD street Terminator overdrive transmission that is good for 750 horsepower. We will find out because that is about what it should have.
